Lenitha Bishop, COO of The DPO Centre, was named Entrepreneurial Businesswoman of the Year at the third annual Great British Businesswoman Awards ceremony in London on 31 January 2024.
The Great British Businesswoman Awards Series celebrates and champions women who are changing the face of business across the UK. Role models, mentors, advocates and inspirational leaders – women who are not only excelling in their field, but also paving the way for future generations of female leaders.

The expert judges were from a wide range of industries and big-name companies, including, Nancy Hobhouse, Head of ESG at EVRI, Romy Desmarais, Talent Development Manager at Harrods, Ellie Long, Inclusive Hiring & Early Careers Leader, Rolls Royce, and others.
At the awards ceremony, Lenitha was joined by colleagues and friends from The DPO Centre. Since her nomination was first announced, she said she has been overwhelmed by the level of support and encouragement.
