April has seen us welcome another three new joiners to our ever expanding #ONETEAM, introducing Gemma, Leo and Karen!
Gemma, HR Assistant
Gemma is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and reliable individual who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills. Gemma’s positive attitude is reflected throughout her work and enables her to be an outstanding team player. As well as working collaboratively within a team, Gemma can work autonomously on independent projects and complete tasks to a high standard. As our HR Assistant, Gemma will be working closely alongside the wider HR team, supporting with our ambitious recruitment objectives and providing additional support in addressing our general HR requirements. Alongside this, Gemma will also provide project admin support to the project management team.
Leo, Data Protection Officer
Leo, based in the Netherlands, is an analytical privacy professional with over five years’ experience within the data protection and compliance industry. Leo has a Masters in law degree and was previously a Senior Legal Counsel before focusing his career within data protection. He possesses numerous industry-recognised qualifications including, CIPP/e, CIPT, and CIPM. His in-depth knowledge of various international laws has enabled him to develop a keen interest in international and cross-border data transfers. Leo is a dynamic privacy professional, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, enabling him to identify risks and deliver, pragmatic, solution-driven advice to his clients.
Karen, Senior Copywriter
Karen, joins us as Senior Copywriter. Karen makes a very valuable addition to our growing marketing team, as she will be responsible for producing all our written content, relieving the pressure on the many people currently involved in the writing, review and approval of copy.
Karen is a published author and professional copywriter with an in-depth understanding of content marketing strategies. Karen has over 15 years’ experience in producing commercially focused copy for both B2B and B2C businesses. She is highly skilled at writing both long and short form copy with an engaging and captivating voice. Karen works as part of the wider marketing team and is responsible for producing consistent, high-quality copy that remains in line with our brand.
