New article in the Global Banking & Finance Review

Our Head of DPOs, Lenitha Bishop, has written an article in the Global Banking and Finance Review about the rising number of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) that companies can expect to see over the coming months.

Statistics from the latest UK Data Protection Index results, combined with results from research commissioned by the DPO Centre in November 2020, show that there has already been a 66% rise in DSARs submitted to companies since July 2020. This is only set to rise further into 2021.

In her article, Lenitha discusses the challenges that a rise in requests poses for companies, and provides seven helpful steps that companies can take when handling customer data.
