Employee DSARs can be extremely large and complex and are often left for HR departments to deal with, and figures from the UK Data Protection Index show that the number of DSARs received by organisations has increased over the last 12 months.
This article considers the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the number of DSARs that have been submitted over the last two years, and the particular challenges that these types of requests can present for organisations and, in particular, HR departments.
