DSARs Webinar | What HR professionals need to know | April

April 13, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Introducing The DPO Centre’s new free monthly DSAR webinar, aimed at providing busy HR professionals with the knowledge and skills to be able to deal with the most complex of employee Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month, The DPO Centre will be organising a 30-minute webinar led by one of our DSAR experts. The webinars will cover everything you need to know to be able to deal with these requests, from first receipt of a request, to the final sending of the response, giving you the confidence to deal with your organisation’s employee DSARs.

The webinars will consist of:

  • 20 minute training session on various aspects of responding to employee DSARs
  • 10 minute Q&A

This month’s session will cover the procedural aspects of dealing with employee DSARs, such as acknowledging requests, seeking clarification from the requester, authorities to act on a requester’s behalf, and validating identity. If you are interested in attending, you can sign up and watch the event here.

NB: This webinar is run by The DPO Centre who is the data controller of your data for the purposes of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. The registration process is handled by Vimeo who is a separate data controller. Your registration details are requested so that the webinar can be delivered to you.
