Concluding our Privacy Puzzle global webinar series, The DPO Centre is delighted to announce Sue MacSwan as the winner of our prize draw – congratulations, Sue!
Our Privacy Puzzle webinar series explored 10 data protection topics, attracting a global audience of over 1,500. Among the unmissable sessions were Personal liabilities for C-suite executives, Obstacles to AI deployment and how to overcome them, and DSARs needn’t be a DSAR-ster for your business. Attendees were offered the chance to win either a £500 charity donation or a £300 flight voucher.
Prize draw winner, Sue, an Information Governance and Data Protection Officer at the Office of Rail & Road, chose the £500 charity donation, nominating South Essex Wildlife Hospital as the recipient.
She said,
‘It was a lovely surprise to win and be able to nominate the South Essex Wildlife Hospital charity and make a difference by supporting the wellbeing and conservation efforts for local wildlife.’
Founded in 1995, the charity specialises in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured, orphaned, or sick wild animals across Essex, London, and Kent. Sue Schwar, Founder and CEO, said,
‘All of us here at South Essex Wildlife Hospital would like to say a massive thank you to The DPO Centre and, of course, the incredibly generous competition winner, Sue, for thinking of us in this competition! As one of the UK’s busiest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centres, we admit more than 10,000 patients each year and can only do the work we do thanks to the support and generosity of people like you. From saving a fox from being trapped in a fence to life-saving surgery on an injured hedgehog, your kind donation will help us give more wild animals a second chance back in the wild, so thank you once again!’
