The DMA is the leading trade association for marketers that use data to drive their organisations forward. It provides its members with access to exclusive research, legal advice, webinars and training, as well as sharing best practice guidance on how to market to both businesses and consumers responsibly.
All members of the DMA must be able to demonstrate that they abide by its Code of Conduct, which commits organisations to several principles of responsible marketing. This includes abiding by the rules laid down in UK Any law, statute, declaration, decree, directive, legislative enactment, order, ordinance, regulation, rule or other binding restriction (as amended, consolidated or re-enacted from time to time) that relates to the protection of individuals with regards to the Processing of Personal Data.... thus providing another incentive for organisations to meet their data protection obligations.
