We are very proud to share that The DPO Centre has been named Compliance Consultancy Firm of the Year at the ICA Compliance Awards Europe, following the team’s work with the NSPCC.
Presented on 25 June 2026 at a ceremony in London, the award recognises organisations making a measurable impact in helping clients manage complex compliance challenges and advance best practice across the profession.
The award was judged by a panel of leading compliance professionals from across the industry, with The DPO Centre selected from a shortlist of 13 companies.
Led by Dom Newton, Data Protection Officer at The DPO Centre, our team has supported the charity as it embeds child-centred privacy practices across safeguarding, supporter engagement, and AI-enabled initiatives.
Through this work, Dom and the wider team have helped strengthen governance around emerging technologies, enable the safe use of personal dataInformation which relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. to protect children and young people, and inform national policy.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Dom said,
‘I’m very proud to receive the award tonight for a hugely worthwhile project, which has supported one of the largest children’s charities in the UK and millions of children, young people and families in the years to come.
‘This work is especially meaningful to me given my family’s history of supporting the NSPCC over the last century. It has been a real privilege to work with the charity as they prepare the organisation for the decades ahead.’
The award comes in the year following The DPO Centre’s acquisition by Axiom GRC.
