The DPO Centre’s Data Protection Officer and Life Sciences Sector Lead, Lawrence Carter, has written for Issue 2 of the Journal of Health Data Protection. His article, ‘Horizon scanning: Health data in the EU and UK changes to secondary uses’ considers what recent and emerging regulatory developments could mean for Life Sciences organisations.
As the uses for health data expand, so do the questions around how that data can be reused and what safeguards need to be in place. Lawrence regularly advises Life Sciences organisations on these questions, including how changing requirements may affect existing practices.
Issue 2 also features contributions on a range of emerging health data protection and governance issues.
