The History of the DPO Centre
The DPO Centre was born in July 2017. The idea to provide organisations with qualified and experienced outsourced DPOs on a ‘fractional’ basis was the brainchild of Rob Masson, CEO of the DPO Centre.
His mission was to employ the brightest and most experienced DPOs, and place them within organisations whose ethos and culture would match seamlessly.
Over 2 years later the DPO Centre has grown immeasurably and continues to flourish. To date the DPO Centre has assisted over 300 organisations with their compliance and training requirements and employs a growing number of Data Protection Officers. The DPO Centre offers ad hoc consultancy, so whether you want an annual gap analysis/data discovery carried out within your organisation, or whether you simply want to know how your organisation fares in regard to GDPR readiness, the DPO Centre can help.
Any consultancy we undertake is followed up with a comprehensive RAG (red,amber,green) rated report, so that you and your board members can see at a glance which areas of your organisation are fully compliant, and which require more work.

Outsourced Data Protection Officer Services
The DPO Centre offers outsourced DPO services on a ‘fractional’ basis, meaning anything from 1 to 8 days a month. As part of a full service, you will have a DPO on site, who immerses themselves fully in your business, becoming an integral part of your team. In addition, you will have a nominated secondary DPO, who will cover any holiday or sickness periods, and who can lend a hand if you undertake a large project, or undergo an expansion.

Telephone Advisory Service
The DPO Centre offers a telephone advisory service, available every week day from 9am to 5:30pm. This advice line is manned by a qualified and experienced Data Protection Offer, who will respond to your query directly. This service is especially useful if you receive a DSAR, or you have a complex question which requires an expert eye.
This service is included in our outsourced DPO Service, but is also available as a stand alone package.
